Divisional Learning & Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Divisional Learning & Development Manager on behalf of our client who is a Hospitality and Leisure company that operates Luxury hotels, train services and river cruises worldwide!

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in advancing the skills and knowledge of the Companies teams. Your passion for helping people learn and grow will drive the development and implementation of the organisations learning and development strategy.

Key Responsibilities


  • Create and execute innovative learning strategies and courses.
  • Evaluate individual and organisational development needs.
  • Implement diverse learning methods (coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
  • Design and deliver e-learning and in-person courses, workshops, and other trainings.
  • Assess the success of development plans and optimise learning opportunities.
  • Facilitate the annual performance review process and support organisational development initiatives.


Qualifications


  • Proven experience in designing and implementing learning and development programs.
  • Strong understanding of various training methods and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess and identify training needs effectively.
  • Budget management and negotiation skills.
  • Degree preferably in Learning Management, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of learning and development experience (at a leadership level) including developing, implementing, and delivering training.  


Leadership Responsibilities


  • Create, update, and implement departmental SOPs.
  • Monitor operational standards and procedures.
  • Implement measures to improve cost efficiency.
  • Budget, plan, and monitor departmental expenditure.
  • Ensure security and confidentiality of information.
  • Foster high levels of Employee engagement.

Compliance & Health & Safety Responsibilities


  • Prioritise safety to avoid harm or injury.
  • Promote Health & Safety within the department.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Uphold ethical standards in alignment with the company's Code of Conduct.
